1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service govern your use of the JiraGenie mobile application and website (jiragenie.tech). By accessing or using JiraGenie, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old and agree to be bound by these terms.
2. Description of Service
JiraGenie is a third-party mobile application that provides an enhanced interface for Atlassian Jira. The app connects to your existing Jira account using the official Atlassian API.
- JiraGenie is NOT an official Atlassian product
- We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Atlassian
- Jira is a registered trademark of Atlassian Corporation Plc
3. Your Account & Credentials
To use JiraGenie, you need an existing Atlassian account and a valid Jira API token.
- You are responsible for the security of your API token
- Never share your API token with anyone
- JiraGenie stores credentials locally on your device — we do not have access to them
- Revoke your API token at id.atlassian.com if you believe it has been compromised
4. Acceptable Use
You agree to use JiraGenie only for lawful purposes. You must not:
- Use the app to violate Atlassian's Terms of Service or API usage policies
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile or extract source code from the app
- Use the app in a way that could harm, overload or impair Jira or Atlassian services
- Use automated scripts to bulk-interact with the Jira API through JiraGenie
5. Intellectual Property
JiraGenie and all associated intellectual property (branding, UI design, code) are owned by JiraGenie. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive licence to use the app for personal or professional purposes.
The JiraGenie name, logo and design may not be used without prior written permission.
6. AI Features
JiraGenie's AI chat is powered by Anthropic's Claude API. By using AI features:
- You acknowledge that issue summaries may be sent to Anthropic's servers
- AI responses are generated automatically and may not always be accurate
- Do not rely solely on AI responses for critical business decisions
- Anthropic's usage policies apply to AI interactions
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
JiraGenie is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:
- Uninterrupted or error-free operation
- Compatibility with all Jira configurations
- Accuracy of SPACE scores or AI-generated insights
- Availability at all times
⚠️ JiraGenie depends on the Atlassian Jira API. Changes to Atlassian's API may affect app functionality and are outside our control.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, JiraGenie shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including data loss, business interruption or missed deadlines.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service. Significant changes will be communicated through the app. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
